Here, we discuss the drawbacks of previous attempts to develop sepsis therapeutics and delineate a future wherein interventions will be based on the host response profile of a patient. Additionally, multiple and diverse host response aberrations often co-exist in sepsis, and knowledge of which dysregulated biological organ system or pathway drives sepsis-induced pathology in an individual patient is limited, further complicating the development of effective therapies. The evaluation of therapeutics targeting components of host response anomalies in patients with sepsis has been complicated by the inability to identify those in this very heterogeneous population who are more likely to benefit from a specific intervention. Despite decades of research and multiple randomized clinical trials, a specific therapeutic for sepsis is not available. Apparently the number they were selling did not justify a redesign for newer available parts, so they stopped making it. MARSHALL JMP 1 FREEI know that JMP is a crucial part of Stef Carpenters rig (considering 7 stringers, that is.and its very popular generally in musicians population).Ĭonsidering PSA, i know that Rammstein's guitarists use them in some way (and their sound is very very massive.but, i do not know how much of that is PSAs credit.).not sure of some other user.Sepsis, defined as life-threatening organ dysfunction caused by a dysregulated host response to an infection, remains a major challenge for clinicians and trialists. The reason Marshall stopped making the JMP-1 was because many of the parts needed to make them were no longer available in quantity (due to lead free RoHS restrictions, as well as the part packaging becoming obsolete). So, does anyone have some samples of it, or can recommand me a band thats using them.? The thing is that i would have to BLIND order PSA1. So, i am leaning toward JMP for now.in theory, that is, since have never tried PSA. What i hate the most about PSA is that it officially in its name has word "simulator".cause, i am really tired of amp modellers, simulators and other "ALMOST like the real stuff" units.cause, i finally want to enter the real thing league. I know its all analogue.still, no tubes in it. PSA1: I have read so much great things about this one, but never had chance to try it, or even hear in person.or even on record, that i was aware that it was PSA.i have downloaded sound samples from T21 page, and i do not like them.but, again, sound samples are always crappy.JMPs one from Musicians Friend are also terrible, if i remember correctly. Thing is that i had no chance to try it out loud.also, neither have tried it with my setup (mosfet solid state Vox power amp 100w, and Randall 4x12).so not sure how that would sound.(i have tried it through power section of a Marshall tube head, with old tubes in it.not sure if it was some old JCM, or JPM.) Which, actually, i do not care about, cause, what's the most important is the good tone.! but still, i must say that there was no in anyway, a lack of gain.i liked the was, finally, a REAL tone.! i guess that tubes in it play an important role.Īlthough i am aware that it has also some solid state circutry, Marshall jmp: I had an oportunity to try it out breafly, and i liked it.a tad more gain maybe, just maybe, would be nice to have, just for spare. Reason why i am comparing these 2 is that they are available to me.both are MIDI programmable, which is very important.i would use this unit in conjuction with Boss GT-5.(for fx only.at least until i save for a G Major+ foot controller).Ĭonsidering the tone i am chasing varies, of course.but, i need a unit that is capable of producing articulate 7 string high gain distortion (accent is on word "articulate", since i do not want a "can of bees" ton of gain.strong and heavy yes, but, not overhelming), as well as some mellower rock (even bllues) tones.also, availability of liquid smooth sustainish lead tone (of some sort.like Petrucci) is a must. Still, i would like an opinion from you, members. MARSHALL JMP 1 MANUALSI have read HC reviews, manuals and searched the forums all over the net. I am considering buying one of these two.
